FAQ's

Is Kahanah Care the right home for me or my loved one?

We work closely with social services and hospital discharge teams, who recommend patients to us for future care.  These teams may contact us first regarding the resident’s placement, needs and suitability.  We will then attend their home or the hospital to carry out our pre-assessment. This enables us to fully assess their needs and requirements. We will then contact the patient directly regarding our assessment and discuss the care we are able to provide, and the costs involved.

Can I visit before making a decision?

Prospective residents and their families are more than welcome to visit our homes before making a decision.  Please contact us so that we can have an initial conversation and answer any questions or concerns. We will then arrange a suitable date and time for the visit.

We would recommend looking at a selection of homes in order make an informed decision. We understand that this is an important step forward and should not be rushed. We are here to guide and support prospective residents through the decision-making process.
